The opening of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato

About 300 drivers coming from 51 different countries, all the main manufacturers and strongest teams are ready to get on track in KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI. The Finals on Sunday, January 30th, will enjoy Live Streaming coverage.

The WSK Super Master Series is at the starting blocks as it is about to hold its opening round at the South Garda Karting in Lonato on January 30th, 2022. The presence is very good with about 300 drivers from 51 different nations ready to challenge each other in the 4 categories KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI. All the constructors and the most qualified teams will be present. The main international drivers and a lot of champions will get to Lonato, including the winners of the recent round of the WSK Champions Cup held last Sunday that have already a good CV in the WSK Series.

In 2021 the WSK Super Master Series was won by the Dutch Marijn Kremers in KZ2, the Brazilian Rafael Camara in OK, United Arab Emirates’ Rashid Al Dhaheri in OKJ and the Dutch René Lammers in MINI. In the hall of fame of the WSK Super Master Series, that started back in 2010, several drivers continued climbing up the motorsport’s ladder like Antonio Giovinazzi (that won the series in 2010 and 2011 in KF2), Antonio Fuoco (2011, KF3), Max Verstappen (2012 in KF2 and 2013 in KZ2), Alessio Lorandi (2013, KFJ), Dennis Hauger (2015, Mini), Gabriele Minì (2017 in Mini and 2018 in OKJ), and a lot of other karting champions that came to the fore in the past decade.
