WSK EURO SERIES REGULATION UPDATE

New qualifying rules and introduction of the Anti-Launch System.

Ahead of the third and final round of the WSK Euro Series, scheduled at the Cremona Circuit from July 8th to 11th, WSK Promotion announces an important update to the Sporting Regulations.

To ensure maximum competitive fairness and further enhance safety standards for drivers, Appendices E and F have been introduced and will officially come into effect starting from the Cremona event.

“APPENDIX E” – Qualifying Practice Regulations

The new provisions specifically concern the Mini Gr.3 and Mini Gr.3 U10 categories:

- 3-Lap Requirement: Every driver is required to complete at least 3 (three) timed laps.

- Sanctions: Failure to reach this limit will result in the cancellation of the best lap time achieved.

- Exceptions: This obligation is waived in the event of rain or a wet track.

- Unsporting Conduct: Any driver who adopts conduct aimed at hindering another driver will be penalized with the cancellation of all times recorded during the qualifying session.

“APPENDIX F” – Safety and Anti-Launch System

With the primary goal of limiting the risk of the kart lifting and to reduce the possibility of overturning in the event of an accident, the use of advanced safety devices is now mandatory:

- Mandatory Rear Wheel Guards (Anti Launch System): Rear wheel guards (FIA Karting homologated, Anti Launch System) are mandatory as they are specifically designed to limit the risk of lifting during an accident.

- Affected Categories: The device is mandatory for all international categories (OKJ, OK, KZ2) and national categories Mini Gr.3 and Mini Gr.3 U10.

The introduction of the Anti Launch System represents a fundamental step in WSK’s safety strategy.
