AWARDS FOR ALL THE WINNERS OF THE 2014 WSK SERIES.

WSK CELEBRATED THE END OF THE 2014 SEASON IN ADRIA.
The Palaeventi of the Adria International Raceway hosted, on Saturday 10th January, the traditional Gran Gala of the WSK drivers, the event which closes the WSK season every year. There were 250 guests and, among them, the real protagonists of the evening: the first three classified drivers of last season's WSK Series. They were celebrated by big names of International motorsport. The host of the evening was the WSK President Luca De Donno who, while celebrating the end of last racing year, opened the tenth WSK Promotion season. The company based in Maglie (Lecce) is about to enter its tenth year of activity in kart racing and in car-racing. Among the events promoted by WSK it is worth mentioning all the WSK Series, the CIK-FIA World and European Championships and the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth.

GREAT CELEBRATIONS FOR ALL THE AWARDED DRIVERS.
Awards went to all the drivers who placed in the first three positions of the WSK events. The WSK Champions Cup presented its winners: in KZ2 Ben Hanley (GB), in KF Karol Basz (PL), in KFJ Enaam Ahmed (GB) and in the 60 Mini Abdul Muizzudin (MAL). Also the teams of the winners were awarded: Art Grand Prix (KZ2), Tony Kart Racing Team (KF), Ricky Flynn Motorsport (KFJ) and Gamoto Kart (60 Mini). Same ceremony for the WSK Super Master Series, which celebrated its winners: in KZ2 Marco Ardigò (I), in KF Callum Ilott (GB), in KFJ Enaam Ahmed and in the 60 Mini Nicola Abrusci (I). The awarded teams were Tony Kart Racing Team (KZ2), Zanardi Strakka Racing (KF), Ricky Flynn Motorsport (KFJ) and Baby Race (60 Mini). The prize-giving ceremony also involved the recent winners of the WSK Final Cup, which was the opening event of the new circuit in Adria: in KZ2 Marco Ardigò, in KF Karol Basz, in KFJ Presley Martono (RI) and in the 60 Mini Dmitrii Bogdanov (RUS)

ENAAM AHMED IS THE WSK TALENT OF THE YEAR.
WSK Promotion keeps on pursuing one of its major targets: launching new talents. For the first time, the WSK Talent Driver and the WSK Driver of the Year awards went to the same driver: the English Enaam Ahmed of the Ricky Flynn Motorsport team. Ahmed won both the WSK Champions Cup and Super Master Series in KFJ, and then became World CIK-FIA Champion in the same category. The awards were presented by the French Dorian Bocclacci, who was nominated WSK Talent Driver in 2013. Boccolacci will make his debut in the FIA European F.3 Championship in the upcoming season.

LOTS OF BIG NAMES IN ADRIA.
Among the guests of the WSK Gran Gala many personalities stood out at the Adria Palaeventi: Luca Baldisserri (the Ferrari Driver Academy Director), Patrizia Capuzzo (responsible for Csai Veneto), Orazio Manni (member of Aci Csai Karting Commission), Giancarlo Minardi (President of Aci Csai Velocità Commission), the sponsor Giuseppe Pandinelli for Betitaly, Franz Schreiner (FIA Safety Circuit Commission) and Roberto Vallardi, publisher of the 2014 WSK Yearbook, which features images and results of the whole WSK season. The close relation between WSK Promotion with car-racing and the F4 was represented by Raffaele Giammaria, the Director of the Aci Csai federal school. He was in Adria together with the coordinator Cristiano Del Balzo and the instructor Andrea Piccini. Luca De Donno hosted the evening together with Giuliano and Mario Altoè, the owners of the Italian facility which has recently been equipped with a brand new kart race-track, besides the well-renowned car-racing track.

WSK PROMOTION READY FOR THE CHALLENGES OF ITS 10TH RACING YEAR.
WSK Promotion is ready to enter its 10th year of activity with a calendar featuring 9 events, hosted by all the major Italian facilities. The first event is scheduled in Italy, at the weekend of the 1st February, with the first out of two rounds of the WSK Champions Cup in La Conca (Lecce).
