LIVE STREAMING TOMORROW ON WSK.IT.

WSK DRIVERS RUN UNDER CHALLENGING WEATHER IN CASTELLETTO.

As foreseen, the changeable weather brought uncertainty and another issue to cope with in Castelletto. The drivers taking part in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series had to deal with the rain, which fell in the morning and that kept on falling during the day until the afternoon, when the sun managed to come out. The settings of karts changed continuously, testing the skills of drivers during today’s qualifying heats. The output of the races established the starting grids of the Prefinals, scheduled for tomorrow morning. The decisive stage of the event - hosted by the 7 Laghi Circuit - will be also available live in streaming on the official website wsk.it. Fans will be able to enjoy the crucial moments starting from 10.00 am.

ABBASSE AHEAD IN KZ2.
Two victories each in today’s heats for the French Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM-Bridgestone) and the Italian Luca Corberi (TonyKart-Vortex): they will be the pole-sitters of the Prefinals. Abbasse was beaten in one of the heats by Corberi, who then had to give way to the Italian Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex) in another race. In the Prefinal A, Ardigò will take the start next to Abbasse in first row, thanks to his victory and a second and a fifth place he scored in the heats. Next to Corberi, the pole-sitter of the Prefinal B, the Dutch Bas Lammers (Sodi-TM), who scored a third and two second places.

HILTBRAND ATTACKS IN OK.
Thanks to two victories in the heats, the Spanish Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) beat all his rivals of the OK category and grabbed the pole in the Prefinal A. After the unlucky debut in Adria, where he didn't score any points, the reigning OK World Champion has the occasion to close the gap. The current leader of the standings, the Belgian Ulysse De Pauw (Kosmic-Parilla), is having some troubles and is a bit behind because of a reteriment in the first heat of the day. Things are going well for the German Luca Lippkau (Zanardi-Parilla), second in the heats thanks to a victory and two second places: he'll be the pole-sitter of Prefinal B. However, the Italian Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi-Parilla) and the British Finlay Kenneally (Energy-Vortex) will give a hard time to their rivals, given that they will start from the second slot of the front rows next to Hiltbrand and Lippkau respectively.

DOUBLE WIN FOR DOOHAN IN OK JUNIOR.
Excellent performance for the Australian Jack Doohan (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega), who won twice and scored a third place in the heats: he is definitely aiming at grabbing the pole in the Prefinals. With still two heats remaining – to be raced tomorrow morning – all the positions on the starting grids of the final stage are still available. Besides Doohan, the other winners are the British Christopher Lulham (Tony Kart-Parilla), the Italian Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi-Parilla), the Danish Victor Majgaard (Kosmic-Vortex), the Russian Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart-Vortex), the French Gillian Henrion (CRG-Parilla) and the Spanish Genis Civico (FA Kart-TM).

MINÌ SPEEDS UP IN 60 MINI.
Gabriele Minì (Parolin-TM-Vega) won three times and he is still unbeaten after today’s heats. Behind him, the Italian Luca Giardelli (CRG-TM), who achieved a victory and a second place. Also the current leader of the 60 Mini standings, the Italian Alfio Spina (CRG-TM), won a heat as well as his fellow countryman Michael Paparo (IPK-TM), the American Ugo Ugochukwu (Energy-Iame) and the Polish Marcel Kuc (BirelArt-TM). However, all these drivers did not manage to get good results in the other heats and their average score was, eventually, not as good as expected. They’ll have the chance to close the gap tomorrow, in the remaining two heats.
