ON SUNDAY 9TH APRIL THE LIVE STREAMING ON WSK.IT.

THE WSK GRAND FINALE IN SARNO LIVE IN STREAMING.

The decisive weekend of the WSK Super Master Series started in Sarno (near Salerno, Italy). The event, at its fourth and final appointment of 2017, brought 251 top kart drivers coming from all around the world to the International Circuit Napoli, registered in the categories admitted to the race KZ2, OK, OK Junior and 60 Mini. In all of them there is great uncertainty for the final output: results are unpredictable thanks to the great skills of all the drivers taking part in the competition. It is often the driver that nobody expects who manages to achieve the best result: that’s why the standings are going to be uncertain until the very end of the race. And that’s what the public on the stands of the Italian circuit want and expect: they are all ready and eager to attend a dramatic competition, together with fans from all around the world, who will be able to see the final stage on the Internet. On Sunday 9th, in fact, the last races of the event will be available live in streaming on wsk.it,

THE APPOINTMENTS ON VIDEO OF THE FINAL CHALLENGE.
After today’s initial stage, all the remaining heats will be raced tomorrow, until the evening when we will know the final standings of the heats and the first points will be awarded. On Sunday morning, the final phase will start at 11.00 with the Prefinals and will be broadcast on wsk.it.

PUHAKKA SPEEDS UP IN KZ2, THE LEADER LAMMERS DOESN’T LOSE GROUND.
The KZ2 saw the great performance of the Finnish Simo Puakka (Kosmic-Vortex-Bridgestone), who was the fastest in qualifying with 56”350. He beat into second the Italian Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex) and into third the current leader, the Dutch Bas Lammers (Sodi-TM). The latter managed to keep the pace and, scored a 3rd place in the heats while Puhakka won the race. The French Jeremy Iglesias (F.K-TM), another frontrunner, won the second race.

BASZ IN OK LEADS THE ATTACKS AGAINST THE LEADER NOVALAK.
The Polish Karol Basz (Kosmic-Vortex-Bridgestone) had a good start and set the best time with 57”486. Behind him the Italian Matteo Nannini (FA Kart-Vortex) and the French Theo Pourchaire (Kosmic-Vortex). The current leader, the British Clement Novalak (TonyKart-Vortex), was not as brilliant as usual and only placed 13th. However, the Brit achieved an excellent second position in the first heat behind the English Tom Joyner (Zanardi-Parilla). Among the underdogs, excellent performance for the Spanish Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart-Vortex), who won the other heat of the day.

IN OK JUNIOR O’SULLIVAN CHALLENGES THE LEADER ROSSO.
The final output of the tight schedule of the OK Junior was rather surprising: the British Zak O’Sullivan (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) set the best time in qualifying with 59”852. Behind him his fellow countryman Christopher Lulham (Tony Kart-Parilla) and the current leader, the Italian Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex). Rosso, in the evening heats, showed all his strength and won twice, but his rivals are not far and are eager to fight hard tomorrow: Lulham and the English Harry Thompson, in fact, won a heat each.

MINÌ STRIKES BACK AND FINISHES AHEAD OF BEDRIN IN 60 MINI.

The challenge for the 60 Mini leadership sees the Italian Gabriele Minì (Parolin-TM-Vega) in first position in qualifying with 1’07”015. He finished ahead of his fellow countryman Andrea Antonelli (Tony Kart-Vortex) and of the American Nikhil Bohra (CRG-TM). Minì and Antonelli are the frontrunners, together with the current leader of the category, Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart-TM-Vega), who did not put in a brilliant performance in qualifying and only scored the 10th place. However, the Russian driver has already closed the gap: he placed second in today’s first heat behind Bohra. The other heat was won by Antonelli.
