KZ2 Van Walstijn and Denner to the fore, as Orlov retires.
The first A-B heat was won by the Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart Sodi/TM Kart/LeCont), while pole sitter Max Orlov was forced to retire while running in second position. The winner of the first round in Viterbo, the Dutchman Dion Van Werven (CPB Sport Sodikart/TM Kart), finished toward the back of the field. In the second C-D heat, the Frenchman Emilien Denner (Formula K SRP IPK/TM Kart) took the win, finishing ahead of fellow countryman Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart Racing Tony Kart/TM Kart) and Riccardo Longhi (BirelArt Racing BirelArt/Iame).
OKJ Babicek wins the first heat from the pole position.
The OKJ heat saw the pole sitter from Czech Republic Zdenek Babicek (Tepz Racing Team Tony Kart/Iame/Vega), claim victory over the two Polish drivers, Remigiusz Samczyk (Forza Racing Exprit/TM Kart) and Leo Gorski (Ricky Flynn LN/TM Kart). The winner of the Viterbo round, Italy's Michele Orlando (Team DR - DR/Modena Engines), finished quite far down the order.
OK Arias claims the pole position and the victory of the first heat.
Bosco Arias (Ricky Flynn LN/TM Kart/LeCont) also won the OK heat after securing pole position in qualifying. The Spanish driver finished ahead of the winner of the previous round in Viterbo, Indonesia's Qarrar Firhand, and Turkey's Iskender Zulfikari, both competing for Ward Racing on Parolin/TM Kart.
MINI U10 Burgess and Pharoah take the victories.
Two heats were held for MINI Under 10. In the first A-B heat, the American pole-sitter Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport Parolin/TM Kart/Vega) triumphed over the Dutchman Denver Bos (Kidix KR/Iame). In the second heat, victory went to Britain's Albert Pharoah (Kidix KR/Iame), who finished ahead of Jack Wolff (KR Motorsport KR/Iame).
MINI Gr.3 Pace is surprising, Warakitsupachok is solid.
The first surprise came from Maltas Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team Tony Kart/Vortex/Vega), the recent winner of the WSK Super Master Series, who recovered from qualifying to win the first A-B heat. He finished ahead of Taiwanese driver Shuo-Ting Chang (BabyRace Parolin/Iame), while the British pole sitter Alfie Richard Mair (Tony Kart Racing Team Tony Kart/Vortex) was forced to drop back. In the C-D heat, victory went to Thailand's Phawin Warakitsupachok (BabyRace Parolin/Iame) over the American Wynn Godschalk (Kidix KR/Iame).
OK-NJ Schniegenberg continues his winning streak, Hedfors is strong.
The American Colton Schniegenberg (Ward Racing Parolin/TM Kart/Vega) continues his winning streak; following his victory in the previous round at Viterbo and his pole position here, he took the heat win in Lonato ahead of Giuseppe Noviello (Tony Kart Racing Team Tony Kart/Vortex). In the second C-D heat, the two Modena Kart teammates, Sweden's Elton Hedfors and Indonesia's Atiqa Mir, secured the top two positions instead.
OK-N Scognamiglio and Ferrari win their heats.
Manuel Scognamiglio (Pantano by DAM Pantano/Iame/Vega) confirmed his strong form with a victory in the first heat after having secured pole position. In the A-B heat, the Italian driver finished ahead of Switzerlands Iven Amman (Innovate Competition Tony Kart/TM Kart) and fellow Italian Leonardo Dondi (King Racing KR/Iame). In the C-D heat, another Italian stood out as Lamberto Ferrari (Monster K Factory Monster K/TM Kart) took the win ahead of two compatriots, Lorenzo DAmico (LA Motorsport Parolin/TM Kart) and Nicolas Marchesi (Zanchi Motorsport KR/TM Kart).
