The pole positions of WSK Euro Series at the Cremona Circuit

The pole positions of the third round go to Orlov (KZ2), Mazepin (OKJ), Firhand (OK), Burgess (MINI U10), Godschalk (MINI Gr.3), Pezzutto (OK-NJ), and Marchesi (OK-N).

Qualifying sessions kicked off the third and final round of the WSK Euro Series at the Cremona Circuit. This will be the international series' concluding event, which follows the first two rounds in Viterbo and Lonato and will award the 2026 category titles in MINI Under 10, MINI Gr3, OK-NJ, OK-N, OKJ, OK, and KZ2.

The Anti-Launch System for MINI makes its debut in WSK.
A novelty of this event is the debut of the new FIA Karting-homologated Anti-Launch System in WSK races for the MINI categories. The Anti-Launch System is a safety device for the rear wheel guards designed to limit the risk of flipping in the event of an accident. The new guards are effectively engineered to prevent the kart from lifting during a collision. The introduction of the Anti-Launch System represents a fundamental step in WSK's safety strategy.

Qualifying practice and the first heats.
The Cremona program began on Thursday with the official qualifying sessions and the first qualifying heats. The heats will continue on Friday, while the final phase will take place on Saturday, July 11th, and will be broadcast via live TV and live streaming on the WSK.it, Motorsport.com, and YouTube websites.

KZ2 – Orlov secures his third pole position.
The new category leader, Max Orlov (CPB Sport – Sodi/TM Kart/LeCont), immediately left his mark in qualifying, securing his third pole position in the Euro Series, by setting the fastest time in 47.144s. The Russian driver finished ahead of his teammate, Dutchman Dion Van Werven, by 0.197s; Van Werven is currently second in the championship, trailing by 40 points. They were followed by two other drivers of CPB Sport team on Sodikart: the Briton Jenson Graham, who is fourth in the championship, at 0.230 seconds, and the other Russian, Gerasim Skulanov, at 0.250s. The fifth-fastest time went to the Italian Luca Spagni (KCS Racing – Birelart/TM Kart) at 0.263 seconds, while his teammate Alessandro Zallocco set the sixth-fastest time at 0.296s.

OKJ – Mazepin takes the pole.
Stepan Mazepin (SM Racing – Gillard/Vortex/Vega) took pole position with a time of 48.142s, but the Ukrainian driver Vsevolod Osadchyi-Suslovskyi (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame), currently fifth in the standings, was just 45 thousandths of a second behind. The championship leader, Czech driver Zdenek Babicek (Tepz Racing Team – Tony Kart/Iame), is currently further back with the ninth-fastest time, 0.176s off the pace. Among the top performers, the Russian driver Matvei Dergunov (Ricky Flynn Motorsport – LN/TM Kart) set the third-fastest time at 0.115s; the Polish driver Remigiusz Samczyk (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame) posted the fourth-fastest time at 0.126 seconds; and the other Ricky Flynn driver, the American Liam Nachawati, was fifth-fastest at 0.129 seconds. The Polish driver Leo Gorski, who is second in the championship and competing in Cremona for the MP Motorsport team on a Henza/TM Kart, followed with the sixth-fastest time at 0.130 seconds.

OK – Championship leader Firhand leads the pack.
The championship leader and heavy favourite for the title, Qarrar Firhand (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart/LeCont), took pole position. The Indonesian driver secured the top spot with a 0.060s lead over the Briton Henri Domain (MP Motorsport – Henza/TM Kart), who is making his Euro Series debut. The third-fastest time went to an excellent Martina Rumlenova (MVM Racing – KR/Iame), who was 95 thousandths off the pace. Slightly further back were the Polish driver Ksawery Dudkowski (Koski Motorsport – KR/Iame) at 0.212 seconds, the Hungarian Roland Nagy (DPK Racing – KR/Iame) at 0.287 seconds, and the Pole Piotr Gorecki (MP Motorsport – Henza/TM Kart) at 0.478 seconds, who edged out the Bulgarian Svetlen Simeonov (Forza Racing – Exprit/TM Kart) by just one thousandth of a second.

MINI U10 – Burgess again in pole position.
For the second time in a row, the very young American Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart/Vega) secured pole position. After Lonato, Burgess has clocked the fastest time in Cremona as well, with a time of 54.016s. His teammate and fellow countryman Blake Hsueh had provisionally been the fastest, but due to the new rule requiring at least three laps to be completed, Hsueh’s best time was cancelled, even though he remains the fastest in Session-2 with a 54.075s. Behind Burgess, in Session-1, the American Zev Godshalk (Kidix – KR/Iame) stopped at 0.199s to the top and Spaniard Oliver Weytjens (Team Driver – KR/Iame) at 0.206s. In Session-2, the second-fastest time went to the Polish driver Hugo Hejnar (Monster K – Monster K/TM Kart) at 0.126s, and the third to the Brazilian Noah Diamantino (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart) at 0.379 seconds.

MINI Gr.3 – Godschalk is the fastest by a few thousands.
The American Wynn Godschalk (Kidix – KR/Iame/Vega) secured pole position with a time of 53.874s, which was the fastest time in Session-2 and overall. In Session-1, the fastest time was set by the British championship leader, Alfie Richard Mair (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), with a margin of 29 thousandths over the Italian Andrea Buffo (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame) and one-tenth of a second over Norwegian Theo Stendal (MP Academy Gamoto – Henza/TM Kart). In Session-2, coming closest to Godschalk’s top time were the Maltese driver Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) at 64 thousandths and Italian Ryan Di Munno (Team Driver – KR/Iame) at 82 thousandths.

OK-NJ – Great performance by Pezzutto.
In the OK-N Junior category, it was Enea Pezzutto (Team Driver – KR/Modena Engines/Vega) who took the lead, setting the absolute best time of 48.525s in Session-1. He finished ahead of the two Modena Kart drivers: the Swedish championship leader Elton Hedfors at 0.100s and the Romanian driver Radu Basescu-Pricop at 0.110s. In Session-2, the fastest driver was the other Romanian, Calin Costea (Gulstar Racing – KR/Modena Engines), with a time of 48.638s. The Italian driver Giuseppe Noviello (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) ended just 21 thousandths behind, followed by the Briton Daniel Ferguson (Modena Kart – Parolin/TM Kart) at 69 thousandths.

OK-N – Marchesi puts in a super performance.
The OK-N category immediately witnessed a superb performance from Nicolas Marchesi (Team Driver – KR/Iame/Vega), who stopped the clock at 48.303s in Session-1, which was also the fastest absolute time for the Italian driver, who currently sits third in the championship. In Session-2, Giulio Mazzolini (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart) was a surprise posting a 48.472s, just 12 thousandths faster than Manuel Scognamiglio (Pantano by DAM – Pantano/Iame), with Alessandro Cocozza (Cocozza – Sodikart/TM Kart) securing the third-fastest time at 0.102s behind. In Session-1, behind Marchesi were championship leader Andrea Giudice (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) at 75 thousandths, and Cristian Blandino (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart) at 0.108s.
