JUST A STEP AWAY FROM VICTORY IN WSK.
The preliminary phase is over and drivers are ready to challenge each other on the track where the first success of the WSK season is going to be reached. The second and last round of the WSK Champions Cup finishes tomorrow in Muro Leccese (Italy); the Series takes place on the track of the La Conca facility and it is reserved to four categories. The event has two rounds scheduled in two consecutive weeks. Almost two hundreds drivers have entered both the rounds: it's been a veritable festival of kart racing and on Sunday there are going to be many fans and supporters on the stand. There are great expectations for Sunday's races, beginning with the qualifying heats which so far have been uncertain until the end; also weather forecasts seem good. After the long series of qualifying heats, the protagonists of the four categories are ready to battle for the victory.

MAZEPIN AND NIELSEN THE POLE-SITTERS IN KF.
The Russian Nikita Mazepin (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) and the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmik-Vortex-Dunlop) won two races each and they will be the pole sitters in the two Prefinals A and B respectively. Mazepin will have the British Ollie Norris (FA Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) by his side in the front row. Norris won one of the heats. On the other hand, Nielsen will start next to his country fellowman Kevin Rossel (Tony Kart-TM-Dunlop). The other heat winner, the Dutch Martijn van Leeuwen (Zanardi-Parilla-Dunlop), will start a bit behind because of a retirement. The Italian Alessio Lorandi, the leader of the standings, will start from the second row of the Prefinal B.

ARDIGO’ WINS THREE TIMES IN KZ2.
The man to beat in KZ2 is Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega). The Italian driver won all the three heats he took part in and, tomorrow, he will start from the pole position of the Prefinal. The English Ben Hanley (Art GP-TM-Bridgestone) - leader in KZ2 - thanks to his two second places will start from the front row. He will be a tough opponent for Ardigò. There are two other drivers who stand a good chance for the final victory: they are the Belgian Rick Dreezen (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone) and the Italian Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), who will start from the second row.

UNPREDICTABLE KFJ.
The last two heats in schedule on Sunday morning will be crucial to define the starting grid of the two Pre-finals. In fact, Saturday's races were too uncertain as there were too many different winners in the heats. The only drivers who managed to win twice were the British Max Fewtrell (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) and Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi-Parilla-Vega), who had also set the fastest time in qualifying. Anyway, their results are not enough and the other heat winners can still aim at getting the pole positions. Among these drivers there are the Italian Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-TM-Vega), the American Logan Sargeant (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), the Danish Casper Roes (Energy-TM-Vega) and the Russian Matvey Maslov (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega).

SERRAVALLE ON TOP IN THE 60 MINI.
Antonio Serravalle (Tony Kart-LKE-Vega) achieved a treble in the 60 Mini. He won his three heats and he even set the fastest time in qualifying. The young Canadian driver will be the pole sitter of the Prefinal A; next to him the Italian Mattia Muller (Lenzo Kart-LKE-Vega), who won one of the heats. In the Prefinal B, the front row is occupied by the Turkish Mehmet Dalkiran (Top Kart-Parilla-Vega) and the Italian Nicola Abrusci (Tony Kart-LKE-Vega), who won a heat each in the remaining races.
