ON SUNDAY 26TH THE FINALS LIVE IN STREAMING ON WWW.WSK.IT.

THE WSK SERIES IS ABOUT TO CROSS THE FINISHING LINE IN SARNO.

This is the last chance to climb up the standings for the over 150 drivers taking part in the last round of the WSK Super Master Series 2015 edition, hosted by the International Circuit Napoli in Sarno (I). The Series is going to end on the 1,699 metres of the Italian track, after four heated rounds across Italy. Today's qualifying has been, so far, the most interesting moment of the weekend after yesterday's free practice. Tomorrow morning, with the first qualifying heats, we will know who are the drivers that can aim at the title. It is going to be a hard battle, with today's top drivers ready to fend off the attacks of those whose performance fell short of expectation; these drivers, of course, will be absolutely eager to close the gap in the heats. This weekend there's a lot at stake: victory of the round and victory of the whole series in the four categories: KZ2, KF, KF Junior and 60 Mini. It is going to be a big day for kart racing: a great celebration which will start with the prize-giving ceremony of the winners of the round and which will continue with the winners of the series getting awarded in the hospitality area of WSK Promotion. As usual, also at this crucial weekend, the cameras of WSK Promotion will follow the final phase of the event on Sunday 26th April. The live streaming will be available, also for the morning events, on the official website www.wsk.it.

CAMPONESCHI BEATS ALL ON THE FINAL LAP IN KZ2.
The Italian Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) waited until the very last lap to set the fastest time in 1’03”286, beating into second position for 0”015 the excellent Finnish Simo Puhakka (CRG-Maxter), the leader up to that moment. Third place for the French Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM), who drove really fast too, as well as the Italian Paolo De Conto (CRG-Maxter), 4th.

VARTANYAN AHEAD IN KF.
In the final rush in KF, in the battle between the Polish Karol Basz (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega) and the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex) it was the Russian Alex Vartanyan (Tony Kart-Vortex) who had the upper hand. He was the fastest thanks to his 1’05”129 and he aims at passing the two leaders, with Basz in first position. At the moment Nielsen is second and the Polish third, while the Danish Casper Roes (Kosmic-Vortex) occupies the fourth position.

YI FEI YE UNBEATABLE IN KF JUNIOR.
The Chinese Yi Fei Ye (Exprit-Vortex-Vega) is getting more and more consistent. Today he conquered his first pole position ever in KF Junior, beating the Danish Noah Watt (FA-Vortex-Vega) thanks to his 1’06”921. The Spanish David Vidales (Energy-TM-Vega) is third, while the Belgian Timothy Peisselon (BirelArt-Parilla) is fourth. The current leader of the category, the English Clement Novalak (Tony Kart-Vortex), had some trouble today and his overall performance was rather poor.

THE HUNT FOR HAUGER IS OPEN IN 60 MINI.
Qualifying is scheduled for tomorrow in 60 Mini. In today's free practice, many drivers set interesting times, with the outstanding exception of the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (CRG-TM-Vega): the current leader remained behind, even though this may be part of his race strategy.
