KZ2 Van Walstijn 3 out of 3.
The Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn (Sodikart Sodikart/TM Kart/LeCont) is dominating the scene with three victories in his three heats after also securing pole position in qualifying. Among his main rivals, his teammate from Russia Max Orlov, won two heats, and the Italian Cristian Bertuca (Birelart Racing Birelart/Iame) claimed one heat victory and a second place but was also set back by a lower finish. Also among the top performers were the Italian Danilo Albanese (KR Motorsport KR/Iame), the Czech driver Marek Skrivan (CPB Sport Sodikart/TM Kart), the Belgian Elie Goldstein (TB Kart Racing Team TB Kart/TM Kart), and the Swede Viktor Gustafsson (CRG Racing Team CRG/TM Kart).
OK Calleja leads after 10 heats.
The situation remains quite uncertain in OK, where 10 heats were required to establish the final standings. Ultimately, the Australian William Calleja (Parolin Motorsport Parolin/TM Kart/LeCont) emerged with the best results, thanks to two heat victories combined with better overall placements than his rivals. Other top contenders include the Englishman Henri Domain (MP Kart Racing Henza/TM Kart), the Czech driver Jindrich Pesl (Tony Kart Racing Team Tony Kart/Vortex), and championship leader Lev Krutogolov from Ukraine (Energy Corse Energy/Iame), winner of the La Conca and Viterbo rounds. The German Luke Kornder (Parolin Motorsport Parolin/TM Kart) also performed very well with three heat victories, as did pole-sitter Devin Walz from the USA (Ricky Flynn LN Kart/TM Kart), who claimed two heat wins.
OKJ Miron Lorente leads a lot of rivals.
The Spaniard Daniel Miron Lorente (Fusion Motorsport KR/Iame/Vega), who also secured pole position in qualifying, sits at the top of the provisional standings with three heat victories. However, his lead is very slim. The championship leader Antonio Pizzonia (Brazil, Ward Racing Parolin/TM Kart), who was forced to retire in the final heat due to a start-line accident after having secured two heat wins. Other top contenders for success include Belgian Henri-Constant Kumpen (Ricky Flynn LN Kart/TM Kart) and the Russian Matvei Dergunov (Prima Racing Energy/TM Kart), both with two victories, and the Italian Gioele Girardello (Parolin Motorsport Parolin/TM Kart).
OK-NJ Perico leads with three heat victories.
Niccol๒ Perico (KR Motorsport KR/Iame/Vega) claimed three wins in the heats confirming himself on top of the provisional classification. The Italian driver is coming off a clean sweep of the Finals in the previous three rounds at La Conca, Sarno, and Viterbo, and once again stands as the favorite for the Final win in Lonato. Also challenging him is fellow Modena Kart driver Luigi DAscoli, who secured two heat wins. A single heat victory also went to the American Victor Thomas Gorun (Tony Kart Racing Team Tony Kart/Vortex).
MINI Gr.3 El Gahoudi targets the lead.
In MINI Gr.3, the Moroccan Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace Parolin/Iame/Vega) prevailed, taking the first two heats after his pole position in qualifying. In the third heat, El Gahoudi had to settle for fourth place in a frantic sprint finish, but he is well-positioned to reclaim the championship lead following his opening-round win at La Conca. The Mexican Matteo Garcia (Lenovo Kal์ Kart Team T-Group/TM Kart) claimed one victory, while other heat wins went to the Italian Filippo Frigerio (BabyRace Parolin/Iame) and his teammate, Thai driver Phawin Warakitsupachok. The Spaniard Abraham Schelvis Moron (CRG Racing Team T-Group/TM Kart) also established himself as a top performer.
MINI U10 Wolff surprises.
The heats for the smallest category, MINI U10, were as hard-fought as ever. Several protagonists emerged, starting in qualifying with the American Blake Hsueh (Tony Kart Racing Team Tony Kart/Vortex/Vega) taking pole by just a few thousandths of a second over fellow American and current points leader Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport Parolin/TM Kart). Both drivers excelled in the heats, alongside the breakout star of these recent races: the Austrian second-generation driver Jack Fynn Wolff (KR Motorsport KR/Iame), who surprised everyone by climbing into first place during the heats.
