THE FINAL ROUND IS SCHEDULED IN TWO WEEKS AT THE NAPOLI INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT IN SARNO (ITALY)
THE RESULTS AT LA CONCA MAKE THE FINALE IN SARNO ABSOLUTELY UNPREDICTABLE.
After today’s results at the International Circuit La Conca in Muro Leccese, the finale of the WSK Super Master Series, which will be hosted in two weeks’ time by the circuit of Sarno in southern Italy, is going to be as heated as ever. The third round, in fact, was characterized by the excellent results of the pursuers, while the leaders of the four categories fell short of expectations. So, the last round of Sarno is going to be uncertain and absolutely gripping: it is now hard to say who will step on the podium for the prize-giving ceremony.
PUHAKKA IS THE SURPRISE IN KZ2.
It was Simo Puhakka, (CRG-Maxter-Vega) who eventually had the upper hand in KZ2, repeating the result achieved in the Prefinal. In the race run in the morning, the Finnish had to keep at bay the Italian Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega); the latter was the runner-up in the Final too. On the contrary, the Italian Paolo De Conto (CRG-Maxter), who had dominated in yesterday’s qualifying, was soon out of the running. Third position for the French Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM).
VARTANYAN HITS THE TARGET IN KF.
Alex Vartanyan seized the opportunity in the Final: the Russian, who was in pursuit of the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (both on Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), saw the leader of the race stopping right in front of him. Vartanyan took over the leadership and, from that moment onward, he simply controlled the race, keeping at bay the Italian drivers Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) and Felice Tiene (CRG-Parilla), who finished second and third respectively.
LUNDGAARD WINS IN KFJ.
The Danish Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) got the most out of his victory in the Prefinal B: he took the lead at the start of the Final and pulled away. The same cannot be said for the Belgian Ulysse De Pauw (Birel Art-Parilla-Vega), winner of the Prefinal A but beaten in the battle for the second place by the Brazilian Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic-Vortex) and by the strong Spanish Marta Garcia (FA-TM-Vega): the Spanish girl overtook De Pauw during the last laps and secured the third position.
HAUGER STILL AHEAD IN 60 MINI.
At the end of a Final with 6 different leaders in ten laps, the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (CRG-TM-Vega) managed to cross the finishing line in first position, the position he had at the start. The two other podium positions were scored few metres before the chequered flag by the two Italian drivers Rocco Negro and Mattia Muller (Energy-TM).
