Harvick (MINI Gr.3), Gorski (MINI Gr.3 U10), Coronel (X30 Junior) and Weixelbaumer (X30 Senior) came to the fore in the heats.

The third round of the WSK Open Series at the 7 Laghi Kart International Circuit got into its heart with the qualifying heats, as usual highly competitive in the MINI, X30 Junior and X30 Senior categories. But now the protagonists are ready to challenge each other in the final phase on Sunday, April 16th, to be followed live through streaming with the Prefinals starting at 11:10 am and the Finals at 1:50 pm, on the following websites:

After the first two rounds in Lonato and Cremona, the Finals of the third round in Castelletto also have the task of awarding the titles of the WSK Open Series for the X30 Junior and X30 Senior categories. As for the MINI category, the championship will reach its conclusion on June 25th with the fourth round in Sarno, where KZ2 will also make a return along with OKN and OKNJ.
MINI Gr.3 – Harvick is an excellent protagonist.
In qualifying, the Turkish driver Iskender Zulfikari (#552 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega) set the pace, but other contenders come into play in the heats. Among them, the American Keelan Harvick (#513 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) who claimed the top spot in the heats with two victories. Also standing out was the Romanian Bogdan Cosma Cristofor (#539 Team Driver/KR-Iame) with a win in the last heat and the Spanish driver Bosco Arias Chavarri (#503 Team Driver/KR-Iame) who also secured a victory. Iskender Zulfikari also secureed a win and earned fourth ahead of the British driver Noah Baglin (#521 iKart/KR-Iame). On the comeback front, the Australian driver William Calleja (#516 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) came to the fore as he started from the back of the grid due to a penalty that nullified his qualifying times.

MINI Gr.3 Under 10 – Gorski takes the lead in the heats.
In MINI Gr.3 Under 10, the Ukrainian driver Oleksandr Legenkyi (#536 Team Driver/KR-Iame-Vega), who secured the pole position in qualifying, faced off against the Polish driver Leonardo Gorski (#511 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame), Italian driver Niccolò Perico (#566 Energy Corse/Energy-TM) and Australian driver Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi (#524 Tony Kart R.T./Tony Kart-Vortex), each with one victory in the three heats held. The Belgian driver Antoine Venant (#572 Kidix/KR-Iame), who is the championship leader, had two strong initial placements, but lost some ground in the third heat and is currently in third place.

X30 Junior – Coronel confirms his lead leader.
The Swiss driver Tiziano Kuzhnini (#707 Team Driver/Tony Kart-Iame-MG) secured pole position in qualifying and kept his momentum winning the first heat, but was then overtaken by the current leader in the standings, the Dutch driver Rocco Coronel (#704 Martinis/Red Speed-Iame), in the second heat. Coronel continued his winning streak in the third heat, securing the top spot in the qualifying rankings. Kuzhnini followed closely behind, confirming himself as the most formidable competitor, along with the Italian driver Riccardo Ferrari (#712 Zanchi Motorsport/Tony Kart-Iame), who secured the second position in the final heat.

X30 Senior – Weixelbaumer surprisingly in the lead from Albanese to Carenini.
The Italian driver Federico Albanese (#846 Italcorse/Italcorse-Iame-MG) set the fastest time in qualifying and went on to win the first heat, but had to concede to the Austrian driver Nando Weixelbaumer (#833 Martinis/Red Speed-Iame) in the second and third heats. Weixelbaumer claimed victory in heat 2 and heat 3. while the Italian driver Danny Carenini (#801 Energy Corse/Energy-Iame) made impressive placements and closed in on the overall leader, the French driver Andy Ratel (#842 Kidix/KR-Iame). Carenini finished third after the heats, while Ratel dropped to eighth place in the provisional standings.
