All the category winners from the first round, held on June 30th in Franciacorta, are among the entered drivers from 40 nations: the Scottish driver Mason Robertson (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) in MINI U10, the Spanish driver Daniel Miron Lorente (Team Driver/KR-Iame) in MINI Gr.3, the Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia Neto (Team Driver/KR-Iame) in OKNJ, the Turk Bati Ege Yildirim (Modena Kart/Parolin-TM Kart) in OKN, the English driver Roman Kamyab (Ricky Flynn/LN Kart-TM Kart) in OKJ, and the Swede Scott Lindblom (Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame) in OK.

MINI Gr.3 – Ratajski is a good surprise.
In Session 1 of the MINI Gr.3, the fastest time was set by Bulgarian driver Alexander Lazarus (#515 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega) in 1:05.746s, which was just 3 thousandths of a second ahead of the Polish driver Leonardo Gorski (#534 Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex), and 58 thousandths ahead of his teammate from America Alessandro Truchot. OKN and OKNJ - Eskandari-Marandi takes the pole in OKNJ, Ociepa in OKN.

In the Junior category, behind Eskandari-Marandi, the Dutch driver Billy Van Staveren (#734 Modena Kart/Parolin-TM Kart) recorded the second-fastest time at 0.355s, while the Italian driver Bruno Blanco (#705 LA Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart) set the third-fastest time, 0.533s behind. The two winners from Franciacorta were slightly further back: in OKNJ, Pizzonia (#738 Team Driver/KR-Iame) set the sixth-fastest time in 58.989s, and in OK-N, the Turkish driver Bati Ege Yildirim (#804 Modena Kart/Parolin-TM Kart) was sixth with a time of 59.007s.

In Session 1, the Italian driver Filippo Sala (#327 Ricky Flynn/LN Kart-TM Kart) set the fastest time in 59.084s, ahead of his two teammates: the Franciacorta winner Roman Kamyab, who was just 0.081s behind, and Chinese driver Hou Zai Jiang, 0.106s behind. However, the fastest overall times came from Session 2, with three drivers separated by just one thousandth of a second! Both Maxim Bobreshow (#371 Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame) and his teammate, the American driver Mark Pilipenko, set the same fastest time in 58.588s, while the Panamanian driver Gianmatteo Rousseau (#303 Energy Corse/Energy-Iame) was just one thousandth behind.

OK - Schaufler pips Lindblom.
The pole position in OK was hotly contested, with the Austrian driver Niklas Schaufler (#268 DPK Racing/KR-Iame) setting the fastest time in 56.595s, which was 0.137s ahead of Franciacorta winner, the Swedish driver Scott Lindblom (#221 Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame).
