THE WSK TV MAGAZINE OF RAI SPORT ON FRIDAY 10TH MAY.

EATS OVER, TIME FOR FINALS. The series of heats of the third round of the WSK Master Series finished today in the afternoon in Precenicco (Udine, Italy). On the International Circuit, the KZ2, KF, KF Junior and 60 Mini categories met for the third and last but one round of the series promoted by WSK. The starting grid, after today's races, are ready and the competition is moving fast towards the last phase, towards the finals tomorrow afternoon.

HAJEK RESISTS AND WINS THE KZ2 FINAL 1. Only the KZ2 category has its intermediate result, given that the Final 1 of the category was run today at the end of the racing programme. In this race the Czech Patrik Hajek (Praga-Parilla-Bridgestone) gained the lead effortlessly and managed to keep at bay the leader of the standings, the Dutch Max Verstappen (CRG-TM-Bridgestone), who had to adjust to pursue his rival throughout the whole race. Verstappen, despite winning both his qualifying heats, lost the advantage of the pole position right at the start and got passed by Hajek. The latter, eventually, won the race preceding Verstappen. Anyway, today's result was not as bad as it might seem for Verstappen: his most dangerous rival is still the Italian Riccardo Negro (DR-TM-Bridgestone), who finished Final 1 in third position. Anyway, the ranking remains uncertain and Negro still stands a chance to close the gap with Verstappen in tomorrow's Final 2.

BOCCOLACCI RULES IN KF. Dorian Boccolacci (Energy-TM-Vega) arrived in Precenicco in peak form. The French driver, after winning the Superpole in the morning, won three heats out of three in the afternoon and made his bid for the pole position in tomorrow's Pre-final. Next to him, in the front row, the British Ben Barnicoat (ART GP-TM-Vega), who managed to keep up with the French thanks to two second and a fourth place in the heats. Other dangerous rivals for tomorrow's race: the Canadian Lance Stroll and the British Callum Illot, both in second row on Zanardì-Parilla-Vega. Behind them, the quick Croatian Martin Kodric (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) and the surprise of the weekend: the Russian Egor Stupenkov (Energy-TM-Vega). They complete the first three rows of the starting grid.

TICKTUM IS OUTSTANDING IN THE KF HEATS. The heats of the KF Junior, once again, were not consistent with the results so far achieved by the drivers. This time it was Daniel Ticktum (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) who got the lead and clinched the pole position for tomorrow's Pre-final thanks to his three wins. The British driver will have Lando Norris, his fellow countryman and teammate, next to him: Norris is trying to close the gap with the championship leader, the Italian Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-Parilla-Vega). The latter will have to start from the third row, next to the Canadian Parker Thompson (Energy-TM-Vega), who did not confirm the excellent performance he put in during qualifying, where he managed to get the Superpole. Among tomorrow's favourites also the two drivers in second row: the Russian Vladimir Atoev (Tony Kart-BMB-Vega) and the Finnish Niko Kari (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega).

MARTINEZ IS THE FASTEST IN 60 MINI. Two wins for the Spanish Eliseo Martinez (Hero-LKE-Le Cont) and one for the Swiss Lucas Legeret (Tony Kart-LKE-Le Cont), that's today's final result for the young drivers of the 60 Mini. The Spaniard, winning the two heats, will start from the pole position in the Pre-final, with Legeret next to him. In second row the Italian Leonardo Marseglia (Top Kart-Parilla-Le Cont), pole-man in qualifying, and the Greek Kostantinos (Hero-LKE-LeCont), who both behaved well in the heats.

THE FINAL PHASE LIVE ON THE WEB FROM PRECENICCO. The video coverage on the Internet on the website www.wsk.it. Broadcast starts at 11:20. The recap of the event will be aired by Rai Sport, with the WSK TV Magazine on Friday 10th May.
